FAQ

  • Like so many establishments in Northampton, we have metered on-street parking. There’s an app called Parkmobile that I find helpful since these days many of us don’t often have change in the car. There are also parking lots nearby if it’s tricky to find a spot right outside of CLINIC. The best deal in town is the E John Gare Parking Garage behind Thornes Marketplace. The first hour is free!

  • Please do your best to arrive at your appointment at least five minutes early. This gives you time to ensure parking and perhaps even use the restroom beforehand. Time for your appointment has been specially set aside for you and if you’re late, time will be taken off your massage to keep all clients on schedule. Full payment for your scheduled services will be expected.

  • We require 24 hours notice to cancel your appointments. A cancellation or no-show within that time frame will result in a full charge for your session. Less than 24 hours notice makes it nearly impossible to fill the appointment time. Of course, extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration before charging.

  • I do not accept insurance. Happy to provide you with receipts if needed.

  • Yes– we’re all still masking in the shared spaces (like the waiting area and bathrooms). Once we’re in the treatment room, we’ll decide whether you want to take off your mask for your session. I will continue to wear a mask at all times. Please bring a mask with you to limit waste.

  • No. Honestly, there’s very rarely a “bad” day to get a massage. You don’t have to be a hurtin’ pup in order to receive a massage and make it useful. When I’m feeling well in body, mind and spirit, there is always another tier of awesomeness to explore. Why not make a good day top notch, best-ever?

  • Absolutely not. No matter what you choose, you’ll be snug as a bug in a rug underneath the sheet and/or blanket. Only the part of the body I’m working on at a time will be undraped. I am conscientious of clients feeling safe and secure during their sessions. Ultimately, some people undress completely, others keep underwear on, and others make other choices depending on what they need. It’s all good with me.

  • Not fully yet. We have an accessible bathroom, entrance and an ADA ramp will be completed by Winter 2023. Exciting!

  • I’d suggest rescheduling your massage if you are experiencing sunburned skin. It won’t feel good to receive a massage if the skin is delicate and painful. Your skin needs to heal first before seeing me. Another option is to avoid the area altogether. For example, if one part of your body is sunburned, we can choose to avoid that area for this session.

  • These are all parts of being a human and they don’t bother me at all.
